Gieves & Hawkes arguably has the most famous address in menswear: No.1 Savile Row. Following a comprehensive refurbishment of the historic Georgian premises – which now has quirky bright walls and includes a barber and antique store – the firm famous for outfitting iconic Brits from Sean Connery, David Beckham to Winston Churchill and Prince William, approached Show Media to develop an ad campaign and brand imagery for its new Autumn/Winter collection.
Taking inspiration from the firm's heritage in military apparel and kitting out explorers – it boasts Captain Robert Falcon Scott, Admiral Lord Nelson and The Duke of Wellington among its former customers – we decided to shoot in the Brecon Beacons with photographer Lorenzo Agius.
The resulting images bring out the textures and colours of the clothing by juxtaposing them with Mother Nature. Look out for them in magazines later this year.
