Perrier-Jouët Bicentenary Party

Event organisation

Show Media was commissioned by Champagne Perrier-Jouët to bring their vision to life for their UK Bicentenary celebrations. We have worked with the House since 2005 and our familiarity with the brand led to the development of a 'Mentors & Muses' theme to the party to celebrate the House's living legacy: a 200-year-old marriage of craftsmanship and inspiration. The guest list comprised 100 VIPs drawn from the creative spectrum who each invited their Mentor, Muse or Protégé including actors, designers, artists, dancers and musicians.

Hosted at the elegant London townhouse, Il Bottaccio at Hyde Park Corner, the evening started with a champagne reception and was followed by dinner inspired by Perrier-Jouët ambassador Albert Roux. The evening concluded with DJ sets by Mark Ronson and Sam Young.

To commemorate the evening Lorenzo Agius was asked to photograph the guests with their Mentor, Muse or Protégé. Following dinner, an exhibition of these portraits was unveiled to the party. Each photograph was accompanied by a personal tribute from the VIP to their inspirational guest along with a defining image from the past. The exhibition was converted into a commemorative book produced by Show Media as a memento for all the guests.
