Rebranding, marketing, consultation on website design
At the end of 2009 Six Senses, the luxury hotel and resorts company, which has properties throughout Asia and a reputation as the pioneers of barefoot luxury, approached Show Media with the brief to rebrand the business. Founded by husband and wife team Sonu and Eva Shivdasani some 15 years ago, when they opened their home (an atoll in the Maldives) to the public as a holiday resort. Now, as well as this haven, Soneva Fushi, Six Senses has several other destinations in the Maldives, Vietnam, Oman and Jordan. However, the brand has grown organically, and Sonu felt that it was time to take stock and reorganise the marketing aspect of the business.
Show Media was hired to help align all the brands within the business, redesign all logos, create new marketing collateral – including photography of the resorts – and consult on a new website design. This is still a work in progress, but the new photography, by Hip Hotels founder Herbert Ypma, is already live and being used on the current website, before the new one is rolled out later this year.
