English/Italian and English/Chinese event programmes

In October 2010, Italian luxury brand Tod’s hosted a remarkable event in Beijing, in collaboration with the legendary Milanese theatre, Teatro alla Scala, the spiritual home of ballet and opera in Italy. The initiative was launched in Milan during last fashion week in September, and Show Media created an Italian/English language programme for the launch event – a screening of a film made by Tod's and La Scala entitled An Italian Dream – that paid homage to the playbills, programmes and posters produced by the famous theatre. In China, the film was premiered along with a new pas de deux choreographed specially for the event by Teatro alla Scala’s Gianluca Schiavoni. This took place in an enormous circular former water tank, dressed with red velvet to resemble Teatro alla Scala’s Milanese auditorium. Our programme was distributed, this time in an English/Chinese version.
